LAS VEGAS POOL REVIEWS: GOLDEN NUGGET POOL The Golden Nugget spent about $30 million dollars to renovate the pool, they closed it for a year and I was lucky enough to spend my 4th of July laying out relaxing at their new masterpiece. This is a truly special pool and one of the most unique places I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending my time.

Overview. The Golden Nugget is located two blocks from the Strip in downtown Las Vegas. One of the most historical Vegas hotels, guests can exit right into the Fremont Street Experience — one of the most family-friendly attractions in town. The hotel exudes a swanky old-school charm with brass accents, marble floors and dangling chandeliers. The oter 2 nights were at teh Paris and the Golden Nugget was a step up in many ways. The pool is the very best. The room was clean and even though it is in the older part, still very nice. The A/C had a hard time competing with the 110+temps, but it did stay cool enough. Nine restaurants and two Starbucks are onsite. Featuring premium steaks and elegant decor, Vic & Anthony's Restaurant is onsite. Featuring aquarium side dining and fresh seafood, Chart House Restaurant is also featured at the Golden Nugget. Las Vegas Strip is 3 miles away. Hoover Dam is 30 miles away from Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.

There were some party patrons so quiet it is not, LOTS of kids, I would say somewhere in the middle, and definitely moreso on the weekends.
